Materials for making paper heart hanging ornament craft

• Several colorfully decorated sheets of paper with different designs or assorted Valentine colored construction paper.
• Red or pink art paper sheet
• satin ribbon
• Scissors
• Glue stick

Valentine's Day craft instructions

1. Print out the template on a regular paper sheet and cut out the heart design.
2. Cut either 4 x 4 or 6 x 6 squares from the design paper.
3. Trace the heart outline on your colored art paper sheets. Then cut out the hearts. You will need 4 to 6 heart cut outs to make one hanging heart ornament.
4. Place one heart face down and add glue to only the left half of the heart and align another cut out heart on top of the bottom heart and press together. Now separate the two pieces of paper not glued explosing the white side of the heart. Then glue the left side of the heart and attach another cut out heart on top. Separate the two pieces of paper exposing again the white side of the heart.
5. Cut a piece of ribbon to the desired length, connect the two ends together forming a loop and glue that to the middle of the heart.
6. Glue the last heart cut out being sure to spread the glue on the entire heart. Place the last cut out heart on top of the bottom heart and press firmly.
7. The design part of the paper should be visible and you have completed the project.
