Freestyle Skiing
Freestyle skiing consists of three events: moguls, aerials, and snow cross. The latter is a new event to the 2010 Winter Olympics. In the mogul event, skiers race down a course of moguls, or bumps, and are judged on their turns, speed and form as well as two required aerials mid-course. In the aerial event, skiers perform combinations of flips and twists and are judged on height, level of difficulty and overall execution.
