Figure Skating

Figure skating is truly the marquee event at the Winter Olympics.  There are four events: men's, women's, pairs, and ice dancing.  Each event has two parts: the short program and the free skate.  Skaters received two scores: one for the technical execution and difficulty level of their program and the other for artistry, interpretation and presentation.
