Apolo Ohno

Five time Olympic medalist Apolo Ohno may be best known to most as the winner of the 2007 season of Dancing with the Stars.  That honor aside, Apolo Ohno is a force to be reckoned with in men's short track speed skating.  Apolo took up short track skating at 12 years old after watching the Olympics in Lillehammer.  In only two years, he was the best short track skater in the US.  Apolo has won every national short track title since 2001, winning his 10th consecutive in 2009.  His perennial dominance combined with his considerable race experience make him an absolute favorite, not to mention his charisma.  If Apolo wins two medals in Vancouver, he will become the most decorated American in Winter Olympic history, surpassing Bonnie Blair.
