Make a photo album. Get out your glue stick, scissors and glitter and put together an album of photos for your family, crew or sweetie. Add a few messages throughout and you have a special keepsake to share.
Thinking of something bigger…organize a Valentine's Day fundraiser for your school or favorite charity. Set up a Carnation Day. For one week prior to Valentine's Day, students can purchase carnations for $1 each. Leave collection boxes along with slips of paper. Students can purchase the carnations for their friends and write notes to go with each flower. Be sure to order the approximate number of carnations you will need from a local florist. On or just before Valentine's Day, go with an adult to pick up the flowers and deliver them at school. A great student council fundraiser and a great way for all of your friends to send messages to each other with a flower. Who knows, maybe you will have a secret admirer!
