How to draw a lizard

Learn how to draw this little lizard of your very own.

You will need:
- Pencil
- Pen
- Eraser
- Paper
- Colored pencils or crayons
- Ruler (suggested)


Jeff's Tips & Ideas : Use lightly sketched pencil lines first for the structure. After, use a pen to draw in the final lines. When you're finished, erase the underlying pencil lines to reveal your drawing. Then - color it!

Let's start! Follow step by step our easy indications below !

STEP 1

Begin by drawing the shapes of your lizard.  Simple so far!

STEP 2

Draw in the legs - there easy to replicate front and back - coming off the side.

STEP 3

Draw the first eye.

STEP 4

Now down and around with the mouth.

STEP 5

The other eye...

STEP 6

Draw the legs AND... a tongue!?  Sure - why not!

STEP 7

Arcing around - all the way down to the tip of its tail...

STEP 8

And a neat looking 'lizard-like' pattern!

Color... pick and combo you like.  You're finished!  :-)
