How to make a beaded wallet

Beaded felt wallets are easy and fun to make for yourself or for an adorable gift. Materials Needed:

• Felt or thin soft leather 12 inches long x 3 inches wide
• Needle
• Green Wire
• Colored Beads and brown beads
• Thread
• Scissors
• Velcro pieces

Instructions:

1. Cut Felt, soft suede or leather to desired size of wallet.
2. Prepare needle with thread.
3. Trifold your wallet to the desired look you would like to achieve.
4. Cut a small slit at the top of the wallet - the flap.
5. Starting at the slit you made at the top of the material, fold the material over in an angle and sew to keep the hem in place.
6. Sew down the sides of the wallet to make a hem look. Be sure only to sew together the bottom half of the wallet that will hold your money or jewelry.
7. Add velcro at the top of the inside flap and the outside bottom so that the wallet will stay securely closed.
8. Cut your wire about 14 inches.
9. Collect the beads on your wire of desired colors to create a flower design. Watch the video closely to know how to make the flower design.
10. Lastly, secure the beaded flowers to the wallet by inserting the ends of the wires through the material and turn over to secure inside by twisting the wire together.
