New Kids On The Block - Stepping in the ring for 2015
The New Kids on the Block (NKOTB)- the senational American boy band that consists of 5 members (brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood) all from Boston, Massachusetts. The New Kids on the Block formed their boy band in 1984, being one of the world's best-selling groups of all time having sold 80 million records worldwide. NKOTB were performing more than 200 performances a tour and sang their hits: You Got It, Please Don't Go Girl, I'll Be Loving You Forever, Hanging Tough, Step by Step. In 1995 the band broke up and pursued other interestd and careers until they reunited again in 2008. This 80's boy band quickly bounced back and released their new single "Summertime" they then released their second single, "Single", featuring R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo, followed by the release of the group's first studio album in fourteen years, The Block.
In September of 2008 The New Kids On The Block took to the Road for their New Kids on the Block:Live tour and did several concert cruises. The summer of 2011 the NKOTB started touring with another successful American Boy Band, the Backstreet Boys through June of 2012. In 2013 the New Kids on the Block released a new single titled "Remix (I Like The)" on January 28 and a new album titled 10 would be released on April 2, 2013. DuThe NKOTB also toured North America with 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men as their opening acts in summer 2013. In May of 2014 they went on a European tour, another NKOTB concert cruise and in July a limited engagement in Las Vegas. On October 9, 2014, the famous and talented boy band received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
2015 The New Kids on the Block will step into the ring for their Main Event tour performing with special guests TLC and Nelly. The tour kicks off on May 1 in Las Vegas, Nev. You will want to be sure to get your tickets early for what is supposed to be "The Ticket of the summer".
