Potato Stamp

You can always find a potato in a kitchen that can become a potato stamp. With a potato and some paint, you can quickly create interesting and funny paintings.

This is an activity that the children will love!

Necessary materials

Potatoes
White sheets of paper
Cardstock paper
Scissors
Box cutter
Black pen
Paint

How to make a potatoe stamp

Draw a shape on the white sheet of paper, making sure it's smaller than the potato. Cut this shape.
Cut the potato in half, put the shape on the yellow part and use the box cutter to cut the potato around it.
Make the potato stamp, by taking off the part that must stay white (everything around the shape).
Soak the shape on the potato into the paint and you can paint on the cardstock paper!
