Critter ABCs

A is for Antelope graceful in flight.

B is for Butterfly,glittering bright.

Cats like to play with some string or a ball.

Dogs like to bark, and curl up in your hall.

E is for Elephants great of height.

F is for Frogs who croak all night.

G is for Giraffes with necks so long.

H is for Horses, swift and strong.

I is for Insects who wiggle and creep.

J is for Jellyfish swimming so deep.

K is for kittens, heart stealing thieves.

Leopard all silent, hides still in the leaves.

Monkeys can swing, with a flick of their wrist.

N is for Nessie, who may not exist!

Owls wise and wary ask whoooo in the night.

Peacocks with pride spread their tails to delight.

Q is the quetzal in robes red and gold.

R is raccoon and what'er his hands hold.

S is for Squirrel who's nuts for the forest.

V is vicuna with wool soft and curly.

Whale, song gifted, swims oceans and seas.

Xenops so handsome, seeks insects in trees.
