Rainbow Dash plasticine

This very special workshop will teach you to make a Rainbow Dash - My Little Pony Play-Doh figure!

Equipment used

• 10 pots of Play-Doh (light blue, red, orange, pale yellow, green, dark blue, purple, white, black and pink)
• 1 toothpicks
• 1 pair of scissors "Hairdresser" Play-Doh
• 1 knife "Pizza Party" Play-Doh

How to make Rainbow Dash 

The head and body

1. Make a ball of light blue modeling dough.
2. With Play-Doh knife, cut both sides to form a point.
3. Model a bit to form the head.
4. Make a second ball, twice as big.
5. With Play-Doh knife, cut it in half in length and width.
6. Model the four parts that you get to the legs.
7. Place half the toothpicks in the neck on the head, and shove it in the neck on the body.

Ears and eyes

1. Make a little white ball and crush gently.
2. Starts with smaller pink ball then with even smaller black ball.
3. Stack these three colors, then add small piece of white Play-Doh.
4. Again these last three steps for the other eye.
5. Glue the eyes on the head.
6. Above each eye, add a small black bow and three small pieces of dough to black eyelashes.
7. To make the ears, use two small triangles shapes and place them on the head.

The mane

1. Form 11 strips of clay: 1 red, 2 oranges, 1 yellow, 2 green, 4 blue and 1 purple.
2. Along a red wire purple wire, orange to blue, yellow to green, and the last time an orange to a blue.
3. Place 4 strips between the ears, and cut with Play-Doh scissors at a good length.
4. Add a piece of green strip and on the other side of the head, two blue strips.

Tail

1. Place a small clear blue ball on a piece of toothpick and push it to the back of the pony.
2. Cup 2 red strips, 1 orange, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 blue and 2 purple.
3. Place them on top of the blue ball.

Wings

1. Flatten a little dough.
2. Cut an oval.
3. Split three times.
4. Model and create a little spike.
5. With a knife, a few small marks on the wing.
6. Again these steps in reverse for the second wing and place them on the sides of the body.

The smile and nose

1. Make a very fine blue piece and place it at the mouth of Rainbow Dash.
2. Take 2 very tiny pieces of blue plasticine and place them on each side of the head for the nostrils.

The cloud

1. Make 4 small white balls, place side by side and crush them.
2. Use 3 very small strips: one red, one yellow and one blue, fold them and place them next to each other.
3. Place the son slightly below the cloud and the cloud up on the thigh of Rainbow Dash.
