Telling Scary Stories

Telling creepy stories about a monster and things that go bump in the night are fun to tell during Halloween. So use your imagination to make up the most spooktacular story to tell your friends or party guests.

Ghostly Story Telling Game

Instructions:

• Sit around in a circle in a darkened room, with a flashlight in the middle of the circle. We do not recommend candles, as it can be dangerous with the kids but you could use battery operated tealights.
• One player starts the game by saying "Once there was......" and makes up one or two sentences of the story. It should relate to and build upon what was previously said.
• The next person to the right then adds to the story a couple of sentences. Go around the room at least once for everyone to participate.
• Try to make the stories scary.
