Who are the Guardians of the Galaxy?

Before coming to the big screen, the film "Guardians of the Galaxy" is an American comic series, published by [Marvel]. The first edition in 1969 was not a great success. However, the action film to be released in 2014 is based on the adventures of the series published in 2008 and it features the adventures of Peter Quill (Star-Lord), Rocket Raccoon (a genetically modified raccoon) Groot (a kind of tree-warrior), Gamora (an orphan warrior) and Drax the Destroyer (played by wrestler Batista). It was also in 2014 that the [Disney] video game launched Infinity 2.0 in which the [Guardians of the Galaxy] have an important role to play.
