3.    The Death Dance

Verges, Spain is host to the unusual Death Dance.  On Maundy Thursday, costumes—many of skeletons—are donned for the traditional “death dance” procession through the streets of the medieval town.  The parade begins at midnights and lasts three hours and culminates with frightening skeletons carrying boxes of ashes.
