it is very good
Learn how to draw this little sea turtle of your very own.
You will need:
- Pencil
- Pen
- Eraser
- Paper
- Colored pencils or crayons
- Ruler (suggested)
Jeff's Tips & Ideas : Use lightly sketched pencil lines first for the structure. After, use a pen to draw in the final lines. When you're finished, erase the underlying pencil lines to reveal your drawing. Then - color it!
Let's start! Follow step by step our easy indications below !
STEP 1
Begin with some shapes. This turtle's swimming and so, we'll draw it with its fins hanging down below the shell. So yes - when you're all done - if you're planning on coloring a background... the ocean will do nicely! :-)
STEP 2
The green lines here - are in place to mark off the curvature of its shell, as seen from a 3/4 angle - the turtle bigger up front, as this is the part that's closest to the eyes of the observer.
STEP 3
Draw the eye!
STEP 4
Carry on with its face... a cute one at that!
STEP 5
One, two... two fins.
STEP 6
Now bring the shell into view... use the guideline to help.
STEP 7
Now you can go in and mark off any remaining lines and details - always easiest when you've got structure in place ahead of time, along with those parts of the subject which make sense to draw in first. :-)
STEP 8
A neat-looking design on the shell... some details too!
And of course - a cool color combo to finish it off! There you have it - very nice work. :-)
