Space Alien Doll
This sheet will teach you how to make a very funny alien doll! The procedure is rather simple, but requires a bit of patience.
You can even do this yourself to provide an original and personalized gift for your little brother or sister.
Materials needed to make the alien plush toy:
- 2 sheets of green felt
- 1 sheet of white foam paper
- Black thread
- Needle
- Scissors
- 3 wiggly eyes
- 3 beads
- Wool, cotton or foam (for stuffing)
- Template sheet available at the bottom of this page, printed on letter size paper
How to make the alien doll:
- For the first step, start by cutting the four forms from the template provided below: the silhouette of the alien and the three ellips shapes.
- Laying the silhouette of the alien on the two sheets of green felt superimposed to cut two identical alien shapes. Then set the three ellips shapes on the foam sheet of paper and cut the three ellipses the same way.
- Place the ellips shapes on the green felt, sew the three foam ellipses on the belly of the alien using the black thread.
- Then sew the beads to the tops of the three tentacles and glue googly eyes above the mouth. You can now finalize the longest step: sew together the two parts of Felt adding wool or cotton stuffing between the two pieces of the alien.
That's it, the alien plush toy is finished! Now that you understand the method of making this fun alien doll, you can have fun to manufacture lots of different colors and shapes!
