May ,that has been adapted to television specials, feature films and a popular song since 1939. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a make believe reindeer who was born with a shiny red nose. Dispite his exclusion from his friends because he was different, Santa asked Rudolph to be the lead reindeer one Christmas Eve. The brightness of Rudolphs nose guided Santa's sleigh throught the stormy weather to deliver toys to all the good girls and boys for Christmas.
