Ghoulia Yelps is one of the Monster High core characters. Ghoulia is a zombie and the daughter of the famous monsters the Zombies. Ghoulia, in monster years is 16 years old and considered the smartest ghoul at Monster High. Besides being a bookworm and very intelligent, Ghoulia is sophisticated, timid, functions better with a systematic schedule and shuffles when she walks. Ghoulia can only speak "Zombie", a language that consists of groaning and moaning. Therefore, causing Ghoulia to experience communication problems from time to time with other monsters that do not speak her language. Ghoulia is the type of ghoul that likes to be friends with everyone and plans her school schedule out with her BFF-Cleo de Nile. Ghoulia's biggest fashion statement are her horn-rimmed glasses and adores the color red. Ghoulia loves all subjects at school and is passionate about reading and learning new things. Ghoulia has a pet owl she named Sir Hoots A Lot. Sir Hoots A Lot has beautiful baby blue feathers and is as ardent and astute as Ghoulia. Although Sir Hoot A Lot is a wonderful pet he refuses to deliver messages for Ghoulia. When all of Ghoulia's reading and studying makes her skillfully hungry she does not crave brainy foods but chooses her favorite cuisine-fast food.
