Fashion Pencil Holders

Here is a simple DIY craft to help you make a fashion pencil holder. It can be very useful on your desk to hold pens, markers, crayons etc. Furthermore, it can also be a nice personalized gift for Father's Day or Mother's Day. Good DIY!

Materials Needed

• A roll of toilet paper cardboard (this will be the pencil holder)
• Cardboard paper (or two thinner sheets that you can paste one against the other)
• Colored felt
• Paint 
• Scissors
• Glue
• Tracing paper
• A pencil

How to make a fashion pencil holder

1. Start by choosing the base of your pencil pot: it can be in the shape of a flower, a fish, a circle, a heart or any other shape of your choice. (you will find them at the bottom of this page) 
2. Once you have selected a design, transfer it on cardboard with tracing paper or by drawing freehand. 
3. Then cut it out. 
4. Place it on the felt, trace and cut. 
5. Glue the felt to the base paper with a little glue. 
6. You will now be able to prepare the pencil holder from the roll of toilet paper. You can choose to cover it with felt too (with glue) or if you prefer you can paint it.
7. Once you have finished decorating the pencil holder and everything is dry, put some glue on the edges of the pot and stick it on the base. After a few minutes you can fill your pen holder!
